The Henry County Board of Health adopted its own local regulation in spring 2023, directing how its operation and maintenance program runs and defining the operation permit's terms and conditions. The permit repeats on a five-year cycle with a renewal application and fee each time, the owner must have at least one of the listed maintenance actions completed within five years of the permit's effective date, and unpaid fees are added to the property taxes.
