Sullivan County's subdivision ordinance sets its own lot minimum where no zoning ordinance is in effect: Section 501.A requires 40,000 square feet of lot area and 100 feet of width for a lot on on-lot water and sewage. Section 105.B limits the ordinance to municipalities in Sullivan County with no subdivision or land development ordinance of their own, so the first question for any parcel is which of the two documents governs it.

Check your own stream on the drainage list before assuming the ordinary path.

NRCS rates 99.4% of rated ground very limited for a conventional in-ground trench, 79.1% for a sand mound and 64.1% for drip irrigation -- where conventional is out, drip is often the system that works.
